Flow Equalization

Facilities such as churches, community halls and banquet facilities typically have specific events that occur over only a few days of a week. Sub-divisions and large municipal systems often have very high peak loadings during s short period of time during the day. For these types of conditions, a flow equalization system (a.k.a. surge tank or flow balancing tank) is recommended.

The flow equalization system manages to spread the flow over a longer period of time, saving the treatment unit from either being overloaded or oversized for the peak loading events. Subject to the type of facility being served, Pinnacle can assist in the selection of the flow equalization system that works best for the facility and the treatment system selected.

Flow Equalization should be considered for facilities such as churches, community halls and banquet facilities.
