Nutrient Removal
In situations where septic system effluent is discharged into a soil-receiving environment close to seas, lakes, rivers or streams, or where wastewater effluent is discharged directly into waterways, it is often necessary to reduce Total Nitrogen, Nitrate or Total Phosphorous entering the environment.
